With a happy heart, I am pleased to announce that the Endwalker Story Summary is now complete, from Patch 6.0 to 6.55 and containing everything you’ll need to know to get started in Dawntrail.

I also want to say thank you for all of you who have been asking, reading, commenting and what not about this story summary. I tried my best to have it done by the Dawntrail launch but a vacation and following sickness slowed me down. But I should close this with a reminder of something I mentioned at the start of all of this – this is the end of my work doing story summaries for Final Fantasy XIV.

I originally started this because of how many people originally skipped the Realm Reborn story to get to Heavensward before realizing “oh wait. some of that might have been important.” (I was one of those people) And while I do have some rough plans to go back and flesh out the Realm Reborn Story Summary some with all of the changes made as well as the different starting cities story lines, but ultimately I felt the end of the Hydaelyn/Zodiark is a good place to stop for me. Each expansion’s story summary has had more and more detail and love poured into it. The Endwalker Story Summary taking up 50 pages of text. I’m happy with what I’ve done.

That said… if you do want to hear more about Final Fantasy from me, I am currently doing my own retrospective into the entire Final Fantasy franchise over on Twitch & YouTube. We’ve played through installments 1 through 8 and a number of spin offs and are currently halfway through Disc 1 of Final Fantasy IX as of this writing (Very appropriate for Dawntrail coincidentally).
